Aisha jamila Hinds has been an American actress for more than 10 years. Her credits include The Shield as well as True Blood. Since her debut she has demonstrated her ability to perform on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. First noticed in 2005 for her role as Anna, as seen in Assault on Precinct 13 It was however her portrayal of feminist activists Fannie Lou Hamer from the documentary film All the Way that finally earned her acclaim as an actor. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 is renewed for the third season from 20th Century Fox Television. Hind completed filming recently for the Hollywood flick Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It's scheduled to be released in mid-2019. Her star-power and elegance was brought to the very first English-language major film. In the months before releasing Provoked: A True Story 2006 in English and then returning to Bollywood to star in Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash hit). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star who is the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most prominent people together.
