Angie Harmon is an American model and actress, who has appeared in number of television and films through the years. At first she worked as an experienced model. After gaining international fame she made her first attempt at acting. She began her acting career in 1995, when she appeared on a television series called 'Baywatch Nights. She also does voice-acting and voice-overs. Harmon decided in early 2000 to concentrate on film and not work on television series. Following a couple of movies, she returned to her television role. In 2008, she was one of a handful of actresses who posed discreetly naked in the magazine 'Allure'. as detective Jane Rizzoli, she has been featured in the TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles. In her role as detective, Harmon was widely acknowledged and recognized. Angie Harmon's work has received numerous nominations throughout the years. In addition, she has won a few distinctions.
