Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts artist competing for the UFC in the Flyweight Division is currently an Kyrgyzstani. Valentina is her younger sister, as well as a fellow UFC participant. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career started out as an Muay Thai fighter. She quit the club in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina utilized superior strikes to TKO Nievera by knees to her body during the clinch. Antonina was offered the UFC invitation following her win. Antonina was offered the UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko took the win with a unanimous decision. She losing her following fight to Roxanne Modafferi by split decision. Antonina bounced right back after the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submissions in the 2nd round. The bout earned Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 during her subsequent three matches which included a win over Ariane Lipski and losing to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently knocked out by KO in the second round to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
